Blood test results

Pathology results

Results will be given over the telephone to the person concerned.  The Reception team will usually tell you if your results are normal and give your INR results.  However, for some results, you may need to see or speak to the GP or Practice Nurse and the Receptionist will offer you either a telephone consultation appointment to discuss your result or an appointment to see the Clinican.

It is the responsibility of the patient to contact the surgery for all test results including cervical smear results.

Blood and urine samples usually take three days for results, x- rays and scans can take 7-14 days and smears can take 21 days.
